My Village, My Pride — Mahishmara I am Ibrahim Sheikh, the founder of Mahishmara Pragati Nursery School. Established in 2015, our school began with a simple yet powerful vision: to provide quality education to the children of our village and create opportunities for a brighter future. At a time when many people doubted whether an English-focused school could succeed in a rural community, we believed that every child deserves access to quality education, encouragement, and the opportunity to discover their potential. Over the years, our students have demonstrated their growth through academic learning, English communication, cultural activities, and participation in national celebrations, developing confidence, discipline, and a sense of patriotism. Our mission goes beyond classroom education. We aspire to nurture responsible, capable, and compassionate individuals who may become doctors, teachers, police officers, and professionals who contribute to the development of their village and society. We firmly believe that financial hardship should never deprive a child of education.

Our Mission
The mission of Mahishmara Pragati Nursery School is to provide quality education to every child in our village and ensure that financial difficulties do not become a barrier to learning. We focus on building strong academic foundations while nurturing English communication, Arabic and Hindi language skills, creativity, discipline, moral values, and self-confidence. Our goal is to develop educated, responsible, and compassionate individuals who can achieve success through their abilities and contribute meaningfully to the development of Mahishmara and society. We believe that education is the foundation of progress and that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and build a brighter future.
School History
The history of Mahishmara Pragati Nursery School is a story of friendship, determination, and a deep love for education. In November 2015, I, Ibrahim Sheikh, dreamed of providing quality education to the children of my village, Mahishmara. With just ₹50 in hand, I began this journey with my dear friend and neighbour, Nader Bhai. Together, we started with a simple bamboo fence, a tin roof, limited resources, and an unwavering belief in the power of education. Despite financial challenges and numerous obstacles, we never gave up. Through dedication, hard work, and community support, our humble initiative gradually developed into a recognised educational institution. Today, in 2026, our school serves more than a hundred children, helping them develop academic knowledge, confidence, discipline, and creativity. Our students proudly participate in school activities and national celebrations. The school has received its U-DISE Code **19070914004** and Registration Number **S/2L/39048**. This achievement belongs to our founders, teachers, parents, students, and the entire Mahishmara community. Our journey proves that building an institution requires not just money, but honest intentions, perseverance, and a genuine commitment to society. Our dream is to make Mahishmara a model educational village where every child has the opportunity to learn and succeed. What began with two friends and ₹50 continues with one mission: **bringing the light of education to every child and creating a brighter future for generations to come.**

With this vision, I founded Mahishmara Pragati Nursery School in 2015. The journey has not always been easy, but I firmly believe that dedication, proper guidance, and a passion for education can turn even the most ambitious dreams into reality. At our school, education extends beyond textbooks and examinations. We believe it should nurture moral values, discipline, confidence, creativity, and compassion. Our aspiration is to help students become successful doctors, teachers, engineers, scientists, and responsible citizens who will contribute to the progress of their families, village, and society. Mahishmara Pragati Nursery School is more than an educational institution to me; it represents my dream, my dedication, and my love for my village. The trust and support of our parents, teachers, and well-wishers inspire us to move forward every day.
